#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. On April 26, the award ceremony for the finalists of the Krasnoyarsk Region’s Teacher of the Year – 2024 competition took place in Krasnoyarsk. Anna Malova, an English teacher at Norilsk grammar school No. 4, is among the ten winners.
During the second stage of the competition, which took place in the regional capital from April 22 to 26, teachers participated in three competitive tests: Modern Lesson, Extracurricular Educational Event – Conversation with Schoolchildren and Master Class.
Anna Malova coped with all the tasks perfectly and entered the top ten winners of the competition.
The teacher shared her impressions with This Is Taimyr:
“It was a difficult but very interesting path! Of the twenty finalists who took the stage for the awards, everyone put in their best effort and everyone deserved recognition. The jury faced most difficult task, because they had to choose the best among those teachers. Despite the fact that the winners are known, including the absolute one, the rest of the teachers have also showed their best. I am incredibly grateful to the support that my family, friends, colleagues, the school administration, my students and their parents gave me. Everyone has put a piece of their soul into my success. The main conclusion that I’ve made from participating in the competition is that I am in the right place and doing a very important job”.
Based on the competition results, the jury selected ten laureates, nine winners and one absolute winner. The winners got a diploma, a badge with the competition symbols and a money certificate. All finalists were also awarded a certificate of advanced professional qualifications.
Let us add that Artyom Suhih, a history and social studies teacher at the Dudinka grammar school, is also among the finalists. He’s become a laureate of the competition with the right to give a master class at the Regional School of Teachers of the Year congress, which will be held in Achinsk this year.
Daria Grigorieva, a music teacher at Yeniseisk secondary school No. 3 named after Valery Sergienko has become the absolute winner of the Krasnoyarsk Region’s Teacher of the Year – 2024 competition. The winner has been awarded a gold badge and a certificate worth 700 thousand rubles. She will represent our region in Moscow at the all-Russian teachers competition.
