Taimyr honorary resident celebrated her 80th birthday

Anna Dyukareva was congratulated by the Taimyr authorities, colleagues, relatives and friends.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In Dudinka, a creative evening Her Life is Like an Argish (argish means big journey) was held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Anna Dyukareva, an honorary citizen of Taimyr and Dudinka, an experienced teacher and public figure, a representative of the Enets-Nenets clan Chor.

The North resident devoted her life to pedagogy, worked as an assistant to the Taimyr Indigenous Peoples Association president, a methodologist in native languages, a local history methodologist in the Taimyr District Children and Youth Center for Tourism and Local History.

“She is also a collector of Taimyr folklore, co-author of the Taimyr Ancient Legends collection, was the author of programs in the Nenets language, senior editor of the national editorial office of the Taimyr TV and Radio Committee, and does a lot of local history work”, the administration of the Taimyr municipal district said.

The Taimyr head Evgeny Vershinin, head of Dudinka Yury Gurin, chairman of the district council of deputies Vladimir Shishov, Taimyr head deputy for education and culture Tatyana Druppova, representatives of the district and city administrations congratulated the hero of the day.

“For many years you have given your souls and hearts to our small homeland. Most importantly, do not lose optimism and an active life position, because your advice, participation in socially important events is always very significant for us”, said Vladimir Shishov.

The birthday woman was also congratulated by the Taimyr House of Folk Art employees, the Taimyr and Krasnoyarsk region Indigenous Peoples Association representatives, colleagues, relatives and friends.

During the meeting, the dance group of the Nenets studio Ya’val and the exemplary children’s choreographic ensemble Taimyr presented their performances to the guests.

In Norilsk, there are more than five hundred centenarians – people over the age of 80.
