April 30 to be designated Indigenous Peoples Day in Russia

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Indigenous Peoples Day will be established on April 30, coinciding with the adoption of a federal law focused on indigenous peoples.

However, this holiday will not be treated as a non-working day. This information was reported by TASS from the Federal Nationalities Agency.

It was also previously announced that funding for programs supporting indigenous peoples had been increased.
