Reputed people and elders will be traditionally honored at the festival. The best representatives of the fishing profession – individual entrepreneurs and fishing artel members – will get awards and memorable gifts.
Holidays will be held in case the epidemic situation is enabling. They will start on July 3 in the village of Levinsky Sands. Celebrations are planned to take place in Potapovo on July 10, in Ust-Avam and Volochanka – on July 17. Khantai Lake village will complete the series of festive events on July 24.
The performers of the Dudinsky folk art city center, soloists and local amateur groups will perform before the villagers. The festive programs will include exhibitions of arts and crafts, sports competitions, creativity and cooking contests. Fishermen also compete in their skills usually. By the way, last year the winner caught a 12-kilos fish.
