#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The SOVA film company’s creative team has left Hatanga, having completed filming a documentary about the legendary Mi-8 helicopter.
Recall that filming began at the beginning of this year. The production of the film is being carried out by order of the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Culture, its format is a cinematic journey, telling about the use of Mi-8 helicopters in rescue, transport and other work in the harshest conditions – from the Arctic to the desert. The film will also reveal the life story of the legendary aircraft designer Mikhail Mil and present portraits of experienced helicopter pilots who will tell stories about the machine reliability and the pilots who have repeatedly saved people’s lives, noted the Agency for the Development of Northern Territories.
The story in the film is accompanied by incredible, breathtaking Arctic landscapes, filmed in the most inaccessible corners of the North. There will also be footage of helicopters from the KrasAvia airline, which assisted the filming process.
Earlier, This Is Taimyr wrote about where films were shown in Norilsk in different years.
