#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Researchers at the Arctic Research Center of the Far Eastern Branch of the Academy of Sciences have developed nutritional supplements for residents of high latitudes.
Scientists have found that when consuming polyunsaturated fatty acids at a level of two thousand units per day, people significantly improve blood counts, the functioning of the cardiovascular system, metabolism, and carbon metabolism. In addition, the production of cortisol, the stress hormone, decreases.
According to experts, after one and a half months of taking a drug with polyunsaturated fatty acids, the picture of the microcirculatory bed of the body changes significantly towards the capillary network growth, increasing the lumen of blood vessels, due to which the blood supply to tissues, including the brain, improves.
The Magadan region government noted that the research results can be recommended to counteract negative factors of a natural and climatic nature.
