#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In accordance with international standards and to ensure the safety of navigation in the Arctic until 2024, Russia will survey 300 thousand kilometers of the seabed relief of the Northern Sea Route.
In addition, it is planned to modernize three hydrographic vessels, as well as to construct three more hydrographic and two pilot ships.
As we wrote earlier, an Arctic concession is being created in Russia. At the same time, the Northern Sea Route was called the key to economic growth in the Arctic. We also reported that in 1970 the whole country watched the first winter voyage along the Northern Sea Route.
