#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. This Saturday, August 28, in the Youth Center’s courtyard, an updated skate court will be opened for fans of extreme sports.
Let us remind you that the development of the demanded sports facility was carried out by the Norilsk Development Agency with the assistance of the Youth Center and the participation of representatives of the Shtorm sports organization.
At the site, the base was renewed and new figures were mounted. Modern equipment was selected and purchased together with professional riders.
“The workers replaced the old asphalt pavement with the least traumatic polished reinforced concrete with a special topping. There are no analogues of such a site in Norilsk. Representatives of various disciplines, both trained athletes and beginners, will be able to train here”, the ARN specialists explained.
The park was designed so that athletes of different disciplines do not interfere with each other and do not create dangerous situations.
The site was divided into three sectors: a street zone that simulates an urban environment, an air zone for acrobatic stunts at high speeds, and a flat zone, a space free from figures with the simplest equipment.
Nikita Baikov, multiple champion of the All-Russian tournament in aggressive commercials Red Jam, prize-winner of international competitions PiterStreetGames, will perform at the opening. The invited athlete will also hold a master class for everyone. For those who want to get on the rollers for the first time, equipment rental will be organized.
