#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Yenisey Siberia investment project’s presentation took place at a business forum in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar.
The participants were told about the Krasnoyarsk region and Tyva and Khakassia republics’ economic, investment and tourism potential.
Particular attention was paid to the project for the Kuragino – Kyzyl railway line’s construction through Mongolia to China. This corridor will connect Southeast Asia via the Yenisey river with the Northern sea route and will become the most important transport artery on the continent.
The Yenisey Siberia investment project was supported by President Vladimir Putin in 2018.
Governor Alexander Uss said:
Today the Krasnoyarsk region is one of the five most actively developing regions in terms of investment and occupies a leading position along with our neighbors Khakassia and Tyva republics thanks to this project.
The region’s head emphasized that many Yenisey Siberia projects were being implemented and actively developed both on the Krasnoyarsk’s territory and in neighboring regions. One of the agreements signed after the forum is aimed at developing cooperation between the parties within the Billion Trees program.
In addition the parties signed their intentions to import lumber and building materials and in the tourism sector.
