“The strategy defines specific targets for the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, the stages and mechanisms for their achievement. The key indicators are the increase in life expectancy and a decrease in migration flow. The project formulated 26 mechanisms to achieve these goals. In particular, it is planned to create a modern system of preferences for russians who move to work and live in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation”, the minister said.
He also recalled that the draft strategy for the development of the Arctic and national security for the period until 2035 has already been submitted to the government. The Norilsk residents could also participate in creating the strategy.
