Photo competition participants to watch theater performances for free

February 07, 2024

The family project of the Severny Gorod media company was supported by the Norilsk Polar theater.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In the Family Year, the media company announced that until the end of 2024 it will hold a photo competition among city residents. The theme is different every month. Participating families can receive a variety of prizes. Including free tickets for parents and children from the northernmost theater.

In January, the competition theme was My Family’s New Year’s Traditions. Norilsk residents sent their photos to our accounts in social networks, after which an open vote took place on the Severny Gorod website. The response to the media company’s initiative in the first month was so big that it became clear how interesting our competition was for Norilsk residents. In January, more than 25 thousand votes were cast for the favorite shots. And even before the start of the February stage, questions come about when the next topic would be announced.

This interest in the project is not difficult to explain. After all, family is not just everyone’s own little world. This is a great unifying force that gives support in difficult times, mutual understanding and love – what each of us needs.

Therefore, we thank all our readers who shared their traditions, interesting stories and photographs that captured bright and touching moments of their lives. And we hasten to please: despite the fact that the winner of each project stage will be just one family, the Norilsk Polar drama theater decided to give a gift to absolutely all participants in the photo competition: 23 families who submitted their photos to the vote will be able to attend the performances during February for free – and this is about 100 people.

Moreover, Norilsk Drama will provide such a unique opportunity to all participants in the photo competition this year. What could be better!

“We always strive to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere so that each of our viewers can enjoy happy moments with their family. Therefore, we were pleased to support the Severny Gorod’s project”, theater director Irina Kutsaya noted”.

At the end of the calendar year, all photographs sent to the competition will be collected into a large-scale photo exhibition, which all Norilsk residents will be able to visit.

Follow our publications – we will announce the theme for February very soon.
