#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The document with new fishing rules for the West Siberian fishery basin (which includes the Taimyr water bodies) is posted on the legal information portal.
“In the region, recreational fishing has a social, life-supporting character, especially in the northern regions. There, this type of fishing is one of the main ways to get provided with food. By adopting the new rules, we managed to protect the interests of the inhabitants of the northern territories”, said Pavel Borzykh, Minister of Ecology and Rational Nature Management of the Krasnoyarsk region.
From September 1, 2021, it will be possible to fish with netting tools in specially designated areas. The new document expands the list of recreational fishing sites. It included 76 water areas of the northern territories of the region.
