#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Today, residents of the village of Volochanka are fully provided with coal and diesel fuel, and fuel and energy resources are being unloaded in the village of Katyryk and the village of Karaul. Delivery to other settlements will be carried out as soon as ice conditions allow, the Taimyr administration’s press service reports.
During the summer navigation, as part of the northern delivery to Taimyr villages, they plan to supply 36 thousand tons of coal for the needs of the population, public sector institutions and housing and communal services enterprises of the villages, as well as over 9.7 thousand tons of fuels and lubricants. These are diesel fuel, crude oil, motor oils. It is planned to deliver 86.5 tons of kerosene for citizens leading a nomadic lifestyle.
As noted by Taimyr deputy head Sergey Sharonov, this year coal for stove heating will be supplied, as well as last year, from the Stepnoy coal mine (Republic of Hakassia). The northern delivery will approximately last until October 31.
