#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The volume of northern deliveries in 2024 has been fulfilled by 99 percent, says Gadzimagomed Guseinov, the first deputy minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.
“In total, the volume of cargo for 2024 amounted to 3.4 million tons. It was a difficult task to form a pilot plan for the delivery of vital cargo”, he said.
Guseinov noted that the main volume of northern deliveries consists of fuel and energy resources – about 70 percent, or more than two million tons.
In addition, from 2025 it is planned to begin developing the Federal State Information System (FGIS) for northern deliveries, TASS writes.
“This system is integrated with twenty federal and state information systems of various ministries and departments. Its main task is to enable us to conclude contracts for the purchase and supply of life support goods in a single contract”, he explained.
