#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Nornickel announced the start of the Palladium Challenge competition. The partner – is the International Precious Metals Institute IPMI. The goal of the competition is to expand the scope of palladium applications, stimulate scientists, inventors and businesses to be creative, and increase the demand for palladium.
“This metal is known for its catalytic ability and unique physical properties and is already widely used in the automotive industry as an essential component of an exhaust gas treatment system”, the company’s press office said.
The jury of the Palladium Challenge competition is independent world experts. They will consider all submitted projects. The three best works will receive worldwide recognition and will be awarded cash prizes on September 16, 2022 at the IPMI Annual Dinner in New York. For the first place, a reward of 200 thousand US dollars is provided, for the second one – 100 thousand and for the third one – 50 thousand dollars.
Registration is open on the IPMI website. Completed applications should be submitted no later than May 31, 2022. All entries are subject to the official Palladium Challenge rules.
Earlier it became known that the Potanin Charitable Foundation is creating the largest endowment capital in Russia of 100 billion rubles. Also, the Nornickel Global Palladium Fund placed unique digital exchange instruments (ETC) backed by carbon neutral nickel on the Vienna Stock Exchange.
