#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The most experienced bulldozer operators in Russia showed their professional skills at the federal stage of the All-Russian contest The Best in Profession – it was held in the Chuvash Republic.
Nornickel Polar Division and the Krasnoyarsk region were represented by Alexander Ignatiev, a bulldozer driver for mechanized work in open pits and on the mine surface, column No. 5 of the Central Motor Transport Association.
In 2021, the Norilsk resident became the winner of the professional skills competition The Best Mentor in The Profession – Bulldozer Operator. At federal competitions, applicants had to knock rubber balls off the racks with a blade, close a matchbox with a ripper, drive in a snake stile and park the car in the garage.
In addition to practice at the training ground, the drivers had to show their skills on a simulator and answer questions about the machinery control regulations and safety rules.
14 specialists from 12 regions of the country participated in the federal stage. Alexander Ignatiev took fifth place.
As a reminder, Nornickel regularly participates in all-Russian professional skill competitions. Thus, Stanislav Nakonechny, an employee of the Norilsk Support Complex, showed the fourth result in welding technologies among participants from Russia at the international championship.
In August 2023, the company will take part in the federal stage of the All-Russian competition of professional skills Best in Profession in the nomination Best Gas Rescuer.
