#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The grand final of the 10th anniversary music festival-competition Names of Russia was held in the State Kremlin palace. Nadezhda Chantsova, a prize-winner of the corporate creativity festival Stars Corporation – 2024″, performed on the same stage with famous artists and talented performers from all over the country.
The path to the cherished goal was not easy. In December last year, Nadezhda submitted an online application and sent a video of her performance. She took second place in the qualifying round. The second-degree laureates automatically qualified for the final round, which took place in June in Rostov-on-Don. More than 15 thousand vocalists from different regions of the country took part in the qualifying rounds, more than five thousand contestants arrived in Rostov-on-Don. And then there was online voting, which Nornickel employees actively joined. Thanks to such support from colleagues, Nadezhda got the chance to go to Moscow, the Nornickel’s Polar Branch’s corporate projects department reports.
On the concert day, more than 1 300 festival laureates performed on the Kremlin stage, as well as stars of Russian show business: Larisa Dolina, Tatyana Bulanova, Diana Gurtskaya, Olga Kormuhina, Dmitry Dyuzhev, Mark Tishman and many others. The hour and a half concert consisted of several episodes dedicated to the work of composer Alexandra Pahmutova, folk traditions and culture, as well as the memory of soldiers – the Fatherland defenders.
It is interesting that for Nadezhda, music is her whole life:
“As long as I can remember, I have been singing. In difficult periods of life, someone plays sports, and I sing. I express myself and my mood with my voice”.
At the same time, the woman, by her own admission, has never been involved in vocals professionally, but has performed in ensembles since her youth and continues to collaborate with them today.
Nadezhda has been a Norilsk resident since 2010, she came here from Minusinsk. In September 2022, she came to the Medvezhy Rouchey enterprise in the tax and financial expertise department. Now she works as a general manager and is a prize-winner in the music direction of the Stars Corporation creativity festival.
