Today in the Krasnoyarsk region the second stage of the competition People’s District Police Officer started. Police Major, District Commissioner of the Russian Internal Affairs Ministry Norilsk Department Yevgeny Nikitin got the opportunity to compete for the title of the best people’s police officer in Krasnoyarsk after he entered the top ten winners of the first stage of the competition, in which, besides him, another 52 applicants from all over the region participated.
In Evgeny Nikitin’s questionnaire, it is indicated that he is 32 years old, the last 15 of which he has served in the internal affairs bodies. He has the rank of police major, awarded with the III degree medal For Distinction in Service.
Online voting for the second, final regional stage of the competition has already begun. You can vote for one or another participant on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, where all the ten contestants are represented. Voting is open until October 16.
The name of the best district officer in Russia will become known on the eve of the Precinct police officers Day, which is celebrated on November 17. In this case, the winner will be determined on the basis of the citizens’ trust index, when the results of online voting using a special formula are compared with the region’s population that the participant represents. Thus, Denis Kostyrev from the Ivanovo region became the people’s district police officer in 2019. In addition to general recognition, he also received a new UAZ-Patriot car.
As a reminder, Norilsk residents have already become winners of the regional stage of the competition. For example, in the past two years, the right to represent our region in the all-Russian final was given to precinct police officers Aleksey Domogashev and Amiran Mamuladze.
