The game with Gazprom-Ugra ended in a strong-willed victory for the Norilsk team - 5:4.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The fifth meeting of the Pari-Superleague semi-finals playoffs between the Norilsk Nickel and Gazprom-Ugra teams in Yugorsk ended in a strong-willed victory for the Norilsk team with a score of 5:4.

In a tense match of the semi-final confrontation, the Norilsk Nickel futsal club won and reached the final of the Russian mini-football championship among Pari-Superleague clubs. Now the players are waiting for the fight in the play-off final of the Russian mini-football championship for the season main trophy.

“With the score 5:2 we relaxed. At game in the majority the opponent pressed us. But the most important thing is that we kept the victory. We now have very little time to recover. We need to replenish our strength and fight for gold medals”, said Ruslan Kudziev, the Norilsk Nickel FC captain.

The athletes thanked the sixth player – the fans, who supported their team very mightily.

The FC Norilsk Nickel head coach Evgeny Kuksevich emphasized that the atmosphere gave a lot of strength, with the help of which Norilsk Nickel was able to win a ticket to the final and he recalled that last year the team was one step away from it.

“The main characters are always football players. Their mood determined everything. Last year we were one step away from the final. This time the sequence of our movement is visible. People who today practically could not even run normally, played on the moral and strong-willed qualities and were able to endure to the end. The guys did their best and gave all their energy.

Our sixth player – our fans supported very powerfully. We didn’t hear each other on the field. We prompted each other not even through words, but through gestures”, the coach said at the post-match press conference.

Now Norilsk Nickel is looking forward to playing in the play-off final of the Russian Futsal Championship, while Gazprom-Ugra will open the series for bronze against Sinara with home matches.

The Pari-Superleague final for the Norilsk team starts on June 3 in the road game in Klimovsk with a battle with the KPRF team.
