#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In July, the students of Norilsk breakdance coach Pankrat Pankratov demonstrated a high level of skill at out-of-town sports competitions.
So, at the all-Russian Break Rumble breaking competition, which took place in Kazan, Valentina Pankratova was awarded third place in the 7-9 year old category. And at the Battle Z dance competition in Rostov-on-Don, she and her brother Maxim took two first places in the 7-9 year old and 10-12 year old categories, respectively.
“This is the first time I’ve taken my children to this kind of competition. Valentina has been dancing for two years, and Maxim – for four. For winning the sports event in Rostov, Valentina was awarded the first youth category. If she also shows high results at the breakdancing competition in November, she will be included in the Krasnoyarsk region team”, said Pankrat Pankratov.
The triumphant performances of the Norilsk residents did not go unnoticed by coaches from other cities. According to Pankrat, after the competition, people approached him and asked where such gifted children came from.
“We intend to continue participating in sports events”, the coach noted. “This is very useful for beginner dancers, because children not only demonstrate their level of training, but also exchange experience with other participants”.
And now, being on vacation, the coach-father does not allow the children to relax, but regularly trains them and prepares them for future victories.
