#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The expert panel of the aviation industry named NordStar Airlines the winner in the Increase in Cargo Transportation Volume category at the IX RuSky Awards. The award ceremony took place during the XI national award Air Gates of Russia at the NAIS aviation forum.
This year, NordStar’s cargo volume grew by 187.5 tons compared to 2023, totaling 5024.87 tons. This growth highlights the airline’s active expansion in cargo services.
Leonid Mohov, general director of NordStar Airlines, emphasized that the airline’s primary mission is to provide affordable air travel across a broad network of routes while ensuring guaranteed seat availability for the residents of Norilsk.
“As the primary airline serving Norilsk Airport, we understand how crucial it is for every passenger and every kilogram of cargo to reach its destination safely and on time, especially in these harsh climatic conditions. We transport large volumes of cargo and mail, connect passengers to their work and vacation destinations, and open up new horizons for travel. This award is a testament to the hard work of the entire NordStar team and our commitment to high standards and continuous growth”, Mohov stated.
It’s also worth noting that in 2021, NordStar was honored with the Wings of Russia award in the Airline of the Year – Group 2 category and has been recognized four times as the best airline for transport security at the national Transport Security of Russia awards. Additionally, in 2021, the airline received the national Skyway Service Award in the Best Airline: Facing Challenges – 2020 category.
