#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Iceberg rescue immersion suit has been successfully tested in the ice pool of the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute.
As reported by the institute, the suit is made of heat-protective material with an increased brittleness limit to a range from -57°C to -61°C. Special support allows a person to stay on the surface of the water without additional rescue equipment.
Additional insulation is also provided to protect against hypothermia when on a hard surface or in water with a temperature of 0°C to +2°C for at least six hours.
Earlier, This Is Taimyr reported that 96 swimmers conquered the cold Yenisey this year.
