#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A paramedic and obstetric station was solemnly opened in the village of Ust-Port on October 14.
The new building has all the necessary equipment. In addition, there is an apartment for future employees of the medical institution from other regions. To implement the socially significant project, the Nornickel Polar Branch allocated about 18 million rubles.
“The availability of housing today is one of the main factors in attracting young professionals to the territory. The company is making every effort to ensure that the residents of Taimyr live in decent conditions, and that the social sphere, such as education, culture, and healthcare, is at the highest level”, commented Anfisa Nikiforova, head of the Nornickel’s department for work with indigenous peoples of the North.
Earlier, we reported that residents of Taimyr could get more than seven million rubles to build a house.
