#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. On August 2 and 3, Sharypovo will host the Otkrytie (eng.: Openning) festival, dedicated to dinosaurs, science, creativity and music. This is the second festival, but for the first time it is being held on an all-Russian scale.
Festival participants will enjoy lectures by paleontologists, quests, excursions and master classes, as well as performances by popular artists. The main part of the festival will be held in Sharypovo’s Dinopark, its first stage opening took place in 2023.
Sharypovo is the only place in Krasnoyarsk where dinosaur remains were found, NIA Krasnoyarsk reports. Most of them were found in the quarry of the Berezovsky coal mine.
