According to weather forecasters, the long-term average monthly air temperature for October in Krasnoyarsk is 2 degrees Celsius. Against this background, the figure of +21.1 degrees looks, to put it mildly, unusual. The previous temperature record for this day was recorded in 2015, when in Krasnoyarsk the thermometer rose to 20.3 degrees.
For comparison: the coldest October 11 occurred in 1970, when the air temperature in Krasnoyarsk dropped to minus 13.8 degrees.
Today, October 12, the air temperature in the city is 13 degrees above zero, and by Friday it will drop to plus seven.
