Krasnoyarsk international airport shared 2nd place in the national aviation award Wings of Russia in the group of airports with passenger traffic from 3 to 14 million people and was recognized as the winner in the category Airport of the Year – Leader of Passenger Favorites. The award ceremony took place in Moscow the night before, the air port’s press service reports.
“We did a great job in 2023, despite the most difficult external conditions and challenges, and such an important assessment of our work inspires us to move equally effectively and responsibly towards new achievements. The highest award according to passengers is especially valuable. This means we are on the right track in developing hospitality, quality service, flight safety, as well as strengthening the positive reputation of our air harbor among passengers and business partners. Thank you for your trust and choice”, said Krasnoyarsk airport general director Evgeny Vladimirov.
The Wings of Russia national aviation award was established in 1996 by the Air Transport Review magazine and the Russian Association of Air Transport Operators. It identifies the leaders who have made the greatest contribution to the sustainable development of the country’s air transport industry. At the end of 2021, the Krasnoyarsk air harbor became a leader in passenger preferences as well.
Let us remind you that Krasnoyarsk airport also took 2nd place in the national aviation award Air Gates of Russia in the category Best Airport of 2 to 6 million passengers in 2023.
