#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In Dudinka, more than 40 activists of the Clean Banks environmental project organized a general cleaning on the banks of the Yenisey.
Small debris was removed by hand. To take out large-sized ones, it was required to engage five units of heavy equipment.
“The peculiarity is that this is not a one-time action, but a long-term project, designed for at least a year”, the organizers said.
The Clean Banks campaign has been held for the fourth year already. In the future, the activists plan not only to carry out a global cleaning, but also to establish a line in Dudinka for the processing of household waste, plastic and other waste. As a result, they want to achieve the construction of a full-fledged modern eco-technology park for the capital of Taimyr.
