#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A gym has opened in the remote village of Novaya in the rural settlement of Hatanga. For a small village with a population of 300 people, this was a big event.
The hall was equipped thanks to the Sport as a Norm of Life project of the Dolon Aryta family community, which became a winner of the World of New Opportunities grant competition.
Sports equipment was placed in the building of the Culture House, built ten years ago. The opening of the hall was celebrated with a sports festival Fun Starts, in which four village teams took part: the territorial department, the elementary school, the House of Culture and the village youth team.
Earlier, the This Is Taimyr reported that the Taimyr Workshop brought together craftsmen from all over the peninsula.
