#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Climatologists believe that the global temperature in the next five years may exceed the norm by one and a half degrees. Roman Vilfand, head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, emphasized that such a forecast indicates that mankind has failed to slow down global warming.
To stop climate change, it is necessary to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and switch to closed energy systems, scientists believe. According to Vilfand, all countries of the world should work in this direction.
“If it was possible to stop the rise in CO2 levels, there would be hope for a decrease in the influence of mankind on the climate,” the scientist concluded.
