#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In 2026, Russia plans to launch four satellites that will deliver broadband internet access to the entire country, including the Arctic region, TASS reports, citing Mikhail Mishustin, the chairman of the government.
According to Mishustin, there will eventually be about 300 satellites in operation, which will fully address the needs not only of Russia but also of all countries in the Eurasian Union for affordable, fast, and reliable internet. He also noted that this satellite network will be developed using Russian technology.
