#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. It is snowing in Norilsk today – the first time after a short northern summer. Due to the plus air temperature, large flakes of snow do not settle to the ground. But the Norilsk people are watching the mountains’ snow caps.
Nobody knows whether the northern winter will soon come to Norilsk. Forecasters are predicting +2 degrees and heavy snow today. According to Gismeteo forecasts, on September 7 the air temperature during the day will be +3 degrees, and at night it will drop to zero.
Recall that last year the first snow fell in Norilsk on September 20, and a year earlier – on September 28.
