#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Steadfast Tin Soldier, Thumbelina, The King’s New Dress, Spruce. The story of a fluffy beauty who dreamed of moving from the forest to a warm, elegant room is supplemented at the exhibition with the first New Year tree in the city, around which children are already gathering to watch old filmstrips, to look through books designed by Anastasia Arhipova.
The Honored Artist of Russia selected only 75 watercolors for her first exhibition in Norilsk, and the gallery staff, inspired by her work, supplemented the drawings with books illustrated by Arhipova, her father and grandfather, very famous illustrators, with small homemade books with texts from fairy tales, some things made alive with the help of light.
The magical spirit of a fairy tale, the upcoming New Year and Christmas attracts not only children, but also adults to the gallery.
Both of them gladly travel first through the watercolor world of their favorite books, and then in the neighboring halls they embrace the Private Moon of another storyteller of our time, the most famous Leonid Tishkov.
