“The traffic of mobile Internet consumption is growing every year, and this year we faced new challenges and more serious load on the network, which the pandemic and the transition to a remote format of work and training provoked. Imagine a multi-lane highway that is covered with concrete blocks. When there are few cars, they move quickly, during peak periods – they accumulate in traffic jams. Now we have removed these ‘blocks’ by expanding the communication channel. The Internet in Norilsk will move at a normal speed, and residents of the city will receive mobile communications of a higher quality”, said Dmitry Germanovichus, director of the MTS branch in Norilsk.
