#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. On January 17 and 18, severe frosts persist in the south of the Taimyr municipal district. The expected air temperature is minus 50 °C, partly cloudy, without precipitation. South wind 2-7 m/s, gusts up to 12 m/s in places.
On January 19 and 20, partly cloudy weather will begin, with light snow in places. The wind is predominantly gully wind 3-8 meters per second, gusts up to 14 meters per second.
At night, the thermometer will drop to -40 … -45 ° С, in some places to -50 °С, in the daytime it will rise to -28 … -33 °С, in places -38 … -43 °С.
On January 21 and 22, southern winds with a force of 5-10 meters per second, gusts up to 15-20 meters per second, and a snowstorm are expected. It will still be very frosty at night: -40 … -45 °С.
In February, meteorologists expect that the average monthly air temperature will be -24 … -29 °C, which is one or two degrees higher than the long-term average values. At the same time, at night, the thermometer will drop to -32 … -37 °С.
