The regional administration awarded the winners of the fishermen’s competition – those who caught the biggest fish or was the fastest, strongest and most skillful – with outboard motors and satellite TV sets. For their participation, the northerners were presented with laptops, echo sounders, tents, solar panels, sets of net cloths, and gasoline generators, drills, multi-fuel burners, voltage converters, snowshoes.
The fishermen of the leading Taimyr artels got gratitude certificates for their professionalism and long-term work. All events were held outdoors.
