#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Zarifa Frolochkina, a choreography teacher at the Oganer (a Norilsk district) Children’s Art School, became a laureate of the Children’s Art School Best Teacher contest.
“I took part in the regional stage of the competition last year”, Zarifa Frolochkina told the This Is Taimyr. “This year I reached the final of the Aall-Russian competition”.
The Norilsk woman graduated from the Oganer School of Arts, and then returned there as a choreographer and has been teaching since 2012. She’s working with junior guys.
“I am very glad that the jury highly appreciated my work”, Zarifa said. “After all, I represented not only myself, but also the Oganerskaya School of Arts and Norilsk as a whole! It is very pleasant that I was chosen out of so many teachers”.
The awards were presented to the winners by the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova. This year, more than 400 teachers and 148 schools took part in competitions among children’s art schools. Only 10 institutions and five teachers became winners. They received cash prizes: a teacher – 200 thousand rubles, a school – a million rubles for development.
