#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Arctic Star – Umka all-Russian literary competition with international participation is held at the initiative of the Krasnoyarsk Royev Ruchey park of flora and fauna with financial support from the Ecological Fund of the Siberian Federal University. The United Directorate of Taimyr Reserves is among the partners of the creative competition.
The competition is dedicated to the most northern animals and the symbol of the Arctic – the polar bear as an endangered species.
From preschoolers, primary school students and older children, up to 18 years old, the organizers of the literary and ecological action are waiting for stories, fairy tales, poems, essays.
Little Norilsk residents have a special attitude towards Umka bear and his brothers: our children have their own educational center, which is called Polar Bear, where they study Arctic animals. There will be something to write about for the all-Russian competition. The winners will be the authors ranked first, second or third in any of the five literary genres. The best works will be published on the official website of the Royev Ruchey park, in the VKontakte group, in periodicals of Krasnoyarsk.
The competition will run until January 31, 2021, the results will be published no later than March 1 on the VKontakte social network page. The laureates will also be notified by a message to the email address that should be indicated in the title page of the work.
