#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Russian government is going to include Arctic into the Far Eastern Hectare program. This was stated by Russian prime minister Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Recall that the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic submitted a draft law on the free receipt of land plots in the Arctic zone of the country for the construction of a residential building or conducting any economic activity to the Russian government back in October.
“Another bill is aimed at creating additional mechanisms of state support for the Arctic”, Mishustin said, adding that entrepreneurs had requested this.
The boundaries of territories in the Arctic will also be expanded, within which it is possible to obtain a preferential hectare of land. The prime minister noted that the Russians will be able to take plots according to a simplified procedure in a shorter time frame.
The prime minister added that the Cabinet of Ministers will give the opportunity to provide the second ‘Far Eastern hectare’ to those who have developed the first one.
According to the prime minister, such measures will make it possible to more actively involve unused lands in economic circulation not only in the Far Eastern federal district, but also in the Arctic zone.
