#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Ministry of Eastern Development of Russia announced the start of a competition for creative projects Arctic Start-up Expedition: Far East and Arctic with a prize fund of one million rubles. The goal is to help creative people realize ideas and launch successful projects.
All residents of the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation can participate in the competition in the Fashion Design direction. They will have the opportunity to take an educational course in marketing, creating collections, making models, and develop professional and communication skills, the press service of the ministry reports. Applications are accepted on the website асэдар.рф until October 8.
The final event will take place on October 23 at the Amur State University named after Sholom Aleichem in Birobidzhan. Ten finalists of the competition will present their projects to leading experts in the fashion and business industries and famous Russian brands representatives. The winner will receive a million.
“We are working to develop the creative economy in the Far East and the Arctic. Our goal is to find talented guys, support and accompany them, so that the contribution of creative industries to the gross domestic product increases, and the guys themselves do what they love in their homeland. The startup expedition helps in solving this problem”, explained Gasan Gasanbalaev, executive director for social development of the KRDV.
Taimyr residents and Norilsk residents have something to offer: last year, the masters of the SEVER collaboration workshop created a unique, bold Arctic style in items from a fashion collection of clothing, jewelry and ceramics. Norilsk projects were presented at the Russian Creative Week. The SEVER brand is becoming increasingly popular. In the showroom you can buy a gift with a northern character.
