#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A new classroom dedicated to a modern and promising area – artificial intelligence and machine learning – has opened in the Dudinka junior youth and children’s tourism and creativity center.
“This is a very relevant area now. I am very glad that we have such talented teachers who help our children keep up with the times. And for our part, we will also provide you with all the necessary support”, said Alexey Chlenov at the grand opening ceremony.
The center’s teachers have got the necessary knowledge and defended their educational program. For effective teaching, Nornickel helped equip the classroom with modern equipment: a projector, a computer, and laptops with specialized software, including popular libraries.
“Artificial intelligence technologies will help students independently manage the learning process, and let the teachers improve educational processes. Artificial intelligence can quickly process large volumes of data, analyze the results of completing tasks during the learning process, thereby allowing each student to unlock their potential most effectively and identify leaders in a particular area”, summarized Anfisa Nikiforova, head of the Department for Work with Indigenous Minorities of the North at Nornickel’s Polar Division.
The classroom opening will allow the children to study in depth the basics of creating artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, as well as actively develop in this industry, acquiring useful skills.
