#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The largest territory with a preferential regime – the Arctic zone of Russia (AZ of the Russian Federation) – now has 129 resident companies. They are implementing projects worth more than 200 billion rubles. This was stated by the minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexey Chekunkov at a meeting of the public council of the AZRF in Salehard.
The main issue of the discussion was the action plan of the state support program for the traditional activities of indigenous ethnic groups.
The participants also discussed a simplified procedure for the provision of land plots in the Arctic zone. Free hectares in the Arctic will be allocated pointwise, next to cities and infrastructure.
