#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The first workers flew to cape Kisly, which later became Tuhard and the transshipment base of gas workers in the Arctic. The location of the berths and the future village was determined. The main forces of builders arrived in Dudinka by the first ship in 1968. Following them along the Yenisey prefabricated houses, cars, pipes, equipment came. In the spring of 1969, construction began on all fronts, including the improvement of the village of Tuhard.
In addition to the main line of the Messoyaha – Norilsk gas pipeline, the construction team of the Ministry of Gas Industry had to build a gas field in Messoyaha with production facilities and compressor stations, and assemble gas distribution stations and points in Norilsk, Talnah and Dudinka.
The Norilsk combine’s photo-information bureau monitored and filmed all the construction and commissioning stages of the main energy carrier of the Norilsk industrial region. The Messoyaha – Norilsk gas pipeline was commissioned on December 27, 1969.
