The documents contain rich information about the people who worked and is still working in the port, information about the equipment that served the specialists in different years. The photo albums reflect the development of the Dudinka port and the Dudinka-Norilsk railway from 1954 to 1968, contain biographical data of workers – the foremost workers of production in different years. Technical reports from 1950–1996 give the idea of the Dudinsky port structure, its production and financial indicators, and the technical development of production.
Very often during the new exhibitions designing, the museum fund is replenished with exhibits donated by the city residents. So, in January 2020, The First Glove of Taimyr exhibition, dedicated to the 65th birthday of Viktor Kraus, the first master of sports of the USSR in Taimyr, was opened in the Taimyr Museum of Local Lore. His sister Olga Kraus helped to complete the exhibition. She shared warm family memories and photographs that give the idea of him not only as an outstanding athlete, but also as an ordinary person – a caring family man and a good friend.
On the eve of the Great Victory anniversary, the awards and award documents of Irina Predtechenskaya, a resident of besieged Leningrad, appeared in the museum collection. Also, the museum received awards and personal documents of Ivan Sokolov, a participant of the Great Patriotic War, head of the Taimyr district department of culture and cinema in the 1950s. The materials were given by the veteran’s daughter Natalya Zueva.
