#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Elena Ordyntseva, a winner of the Big Change competition, along with her teachers Tatiana Fertih and Albina Berezovikova, has emerged as one of the winners of the social projects competition under the Nornickel’s charitable program World of New Opportunities by in the NewPole category.
Vocal Hearts is aimed at students from music institutions in Norilsk, focusing on developing their musical talents and boosting their self-esteem, the project’s authors explain.
“We have planned performances at small venues around the city, where children can showcase their talents in a relaxed setting and gradually get accustomed to an audience. Each child will choose music that suits their taste and skill level”, says Anastasia Yusupova, the winner’s mother.
Elena is filled with excitement after winning the charitable programs competition:

It’s worth noting that Elena Ordyntseva first gained public attention this summer when she won Big Change competition and went on a dream journey by train from Vladivostok to Moscow. The final results of the fifth anniversary season of the all-Russian competition for schoolchildren in grades 5–7, Big Change, were announced at the international children’s center Artek. A total of 700 schoolchildren from 68 regions of Russia reached the finals, including the student from Norilsk grammar school No. 48.
Previously, the World of New Opportunities initiative helped 63 projects make life in the North more interesting, safer, and healthier.
