#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Students, graduate students and young scientists of the Krasnoyarsk region aged 18 to 35 can win grants from the Regional Science Fund to participate in conferences and internships.
According to the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises of the Krasnoyarsk region, the funds are intended to compensate for travel and accommodation expenses at the scientific event. The conference or internship should take place from August 1 to November 30, 2022.
Every year, the regional fund supports about a hundred participants, the geography of trips includes 44 countries and 187 cities.
“The academic mobility project competition is traditional for the foundation, which annually becomes most popular among novice researchers. For 13 years, we have received more than two thousand applications, and the only continent that Krasnoyarsk students have not visited is Antarctica”, said Irina Panteleyeva, executive director of the Regional Science Fund.
The Academic Mobility Competition has been held by the Krasnoyarsk Regional Science Foundation for more than 13 years. The goal is to support novice researchers in the development of scientific and technical activities of interest to the Krasnoyarsk region. For 13 years, about 900 young scientists have taken part in scientific events around the world thanks to the financial support of the region.
Residents of the region can send an application for participation in the grant competition until May 31, 2022. Detailed information is available on the website краевойфонднауки.рф.
