#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A proposal to the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation to replicate the Yamal experience in other Arctic territories of the country was included in the final document of the XIII International Arctic Forum in St. Petersburg.
We are talking about the Arctic ABC for first-graders in Yamal, which in 2022 was dedicated to the Year of Ecology, and in 2023 – to the Year of Knowledge and was developed with the participation of the Arctic Research Center. All school libraries in Yamal and children’s health camps received the Arctic ABC as a gift.
The book tells about the entire Arctic region’s flora and fauna, so it can be extended to all Arctic subjects. Arctic ABC became a nominee for the country’s main educational award Knowledge Prize, the results of which will be summed up in February.
