#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. On January 26, acting referees of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) Konstantin Olenin and Sergey Yudakov will share their experience in refereeing the most prestigious international tournaments, including the Olympic Games and World Championships, at a master class for referees. The theoretical part will be followed by a practical ice training session.
On January 27–28, at the coaching module, FHR specialists will continue to consider the issues of goalkeeping training that were discussed during the previous seminar in November 2021.
“The topic aroused great interest among coaches, therefore, for a more detailed study, FHR experts will conduct classes for goalkeepers at the Arctica sports palace”, the organizers explained.
Also, FHR specialists will discuss with colleagues pedagogical technologies for training young players and important planning issues in coaching.
Recall that Nornickel became the general partner of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation in 2018. In 2019, the FHR presented the Red Machine national hockey training program in Norilsk. In the same year, the first seminar for coaches and judges and master classes for children were held. At the same time, Oleg Bratash, head coach of the Russian Olympic ice hockey team, visited our city as a member of the delegation.
At the suggestion of Vladimir Potanin, the Red Machine seminars and trainings culminate annually in charity matches with the participation of Russian hockey stars. In April 2021, the well-known sports commentator Dmitry Guberniyev held the fourth game of the hockey legends teams and the Night Hockey League in Norilsk. As a result of the meeting, 3.1 million rubles were donated to support children’s and youth hockey in Norilsk and Dudinka.
In the next three years, the FHR plans to continue developing hockey in Taimyr, training specialists, and conducing classes with children.
