#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The career day, timed to coincide with the studies completion for the students with a degree in mining, was organized by the personnel unit of the Nornickel Polar division in cooperation with INRTU.
Talgat Mushtekenov, deputy director of the Polar division for mineral resources, told the Irkutsk students about the company’s position in the market, prospects and modern technologies implemented at the mines. The head of the Octyabrsky mine, a former INRTU graduate, Oleg Zahvataev, shared with future colleagues how his life in Norilsk developed, about his achievements and the advantages of working for Nornickel.

In addition, the personnel block representatives told the graduates about how to get a job in the company and answered questions about programs for young professionals, social benefits, including about homes for young professionals.
It is noteworthy that eight graduates, three of whom received honors degrees, have already decided to move to the northern city. Ten more young specialists are interested in the opportunity to start their professional career at the Polar division.
Nornickel representatives also took part in the ceremony of presenting diplomas and memorable gifts from the company to the graduates – participants of the Professional Start Nornickel’s program.
