WCT Arctic Cup international curling tournament started in Dudinka

Ten teams from six countries are fighting for the victory.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Arctic curling tournament among mixed double teams started yesterday in Dudinka. In addition to five Russian squads, guests from Hungary, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy and Estonia participate in the games.

The first to go on the ice were the Russians – Alina Kovaleva and Sergey Glukhov, who were opposed by the Estonians Karolin Kaare and Harry Lill. Also two Russian teams, Kira Ezeh and Alexey Stukalsky against Daria Morozova and Oleg Krasikov, are identifying the strongest on the second game track. Also, two more matches took place: the Hungarians against the Italians and the fourth team of the Russians against the Swedes.

Today the grand opening of the tournament will take place, at which the participant of the recent Eurovision song contest Manizha will sing. A detailed schedule of the games can be found on the official website of the tournament.

The opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the final of the Arctic Cup, of which Nornickel is the general partner, will be shown live on the Severny Gorod TV channel. The games will end on May 30.
