The owners are often sorry to part with things that are either tired or morally outdated, but the texture and quality of the fabrics remained excellent. Just throwing them away means cluttering up the planet more and more. In skillful hands, such things can become a source of inspiration, open up an opportunity for a flight of imagination. At the first master class of the upcycling workshop, its participants will make sure that one leather jacket can be used to make several stylish leather bows-decorations.
In secular times, many loved to dress in thrift stores: there you could buy things in a class much higher than in a regular store, and in addition at an affordable price. This function in Norilsk is now performed by the ShandyCandy charity store, and the money from the sales goes to help and organize treatment for those in need. Party attendees will be the first to try on outfits from the new collection.
Participants of the event are also invited to bring gifts that have turned out to be unnecessary and exchange them for things necessary for the household. The program includes a stylist’s consultation, a lottery, a photo zone and other surprises.
